Ahmadu Bello University: How To Make School Fees Payment And Register Courses Online

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) is a Nigerian federal government university founded on 4th October, 1962. It is located in Zaria, Kaduna State of Nigeria. The university was the second university to be established after the University of Ibadan. It derived her name from the name of the first premier of the northern Nigeria, Alhaji Sir Ahmadu Bello.

The university has two campuses which are the Samaru campus (main) and the Kongo campus in Zaria. The former has most of the faculties situated in it which include arts and languages, life sciences, social-sciences, physical sciences, medical sciences, education, environmental design, engineering while the later only houses hosts the faculties of Law and Administration.

The university has grown tremendously over the years in both numerical strength (in staff and students) and education quality. In this, short piece we shall take a look at school fees payment and online course registration via the school website portal.

How To Pay School Fees Online

To make school fees payment online, kindly follow the steps below:

  1. Log on to the university online Portal, http://portal.abu.edu.ng
  2. It will take you to a login page where you are required to login with your user name and password. Please login according to your category.
  3. On the next page, click on “school fees” at the upper bars of web page.
  4. On the following page, you will see the list of academic sessions, click on the academic session you want to pay the school fees.
  5. It will take you to the transaction slip page, print the transaction slip page.
  6. Take the transaction slip to the designated bank and make payment with it.
  7. After payment, login back to your profile to verify your payment online.

How To Register Courses Online

For your course registration online, please go through the following steps to help you through:

  1. Log on to the university online Portal, http://portal.abu.edu.ng
  2. It will take you to a login page where you are required to login with your user name and password. Please login according to your category.
  3. On the next page, click on “course Registration” just after school fees at the upper bars of web page.
  4. You will see a list of academic session on the following page. Navigate and click on the one you want to register the courses.
  5. On the following page, click on the semester you want to register the courses whether first or second semester.
  6. The next page will contain a list available courses for that semester which you can register. Simply click on “add to the group” to register each of the courses.
  7. Check the selected courses below the page to see if you have done the needful as regards the course registration.
  8. After that, you may navigate and click on “print course form” below the selected courses.
