Aliko Dangote was born on 10th April, 1957 in the city of Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. He was born into the wealthy home of Mohammed Dangote and Hajia. Mariya Sanusi Dantata. Alhaji Aliko Dangote not most people know him as the great grand son of Alhaji Alhassan Dantata who as at the time he died was the richest African in the year 1955. I guess the richest syndrome runs in the family. According to Dangote, his love for business has always been there since primary school days. He often buy packets of sweet and sell to make money.
