Noun Student Portal: How To Register Courses, Check Result Online And All You Must Know

In this post we would be looking at Noun Student Portal as we are aware that National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is Nigeria’s Federal Open and Distance Learning(ODL) institution, the first of its kind in the West African. It was estanlished in July 22 1983, before it was suspended by the Nigerian givernment in 1984. It was later reopened under the government of former President Olusegun Obasanjo in year 2001.

NOUN is currently Nigeria’s largest tertiary institution in terms of student numbers.

 

 

How To Open Register Yourself On NOUN’s Students Portal

Step 1: After obtaining your Matric number

Step 2: Pay your NOUN registration fees at any bank that NOUN University makes use of and obtain a receipt that’d contain your Registration Transaction ID.

Step 3: Once you have done the above, goto NOUN Portal http://www.nounonline.com to access your Students portal account to continue your registration.

Step 4 – On the Home Page of the portal, Click on “Student Login” on the Menu Bar.

Step 5 – Click on “Register”

Step 6 – Input the required details in the fields provided.

Step 7 – Click on “Submit”.

 

After Submitting your details you should get a successful message.

“You have successfully created an account”

 

 

How To Pay Your School Fees

Step 1 – Click on “ Login ” on the Menu bar.

Step 2 – Enter yoyr Matric number and the password you created when registering to login.

Step 3 – Once you are logged in, goto “ Manage Wallet ”

Step 4 – Click on “ Load Wallet ”

Step 5 – Enter the details and the amount of school fees you’re pay.

Step 6 – Click on “Pay”.

Step 7 – You’ll be provided with a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number, copy it and take it to any bank branch for payment.

After yoy must have paid

Step 8 – Go back to the portal and login.

Step 9 – after logging in click on “Manage Wallet”

Step 10 – Click on “Check Payment Status”.

Step 11 – Enter your Matric Number and the RRR number you used to pay at the bank.

Step 12 – Click on “Check Wallet Payment”.

Once Your Payment Is Confirmed, Proceed To Do Your Registration

Step 1: Go back to the portal and login

Step 2 – Click on “Registration”

Step 3 – Select the semester you wish to register for.

Step 4 – Enter the Details needed in the required fields.

Step 5 – Click on “Submit”

Step 6 – Proceed with course and exam registration.

 

 

How To Register For Your Courses:

Once you know the courses that you’ll be offering for the semester.

Step 1: login to the Students Portal.

Step 2: At the left-hand-side of the page click on “Course Registration”.

Step 3: You’ll be directed to a page where you’ll be able to select the courses you want to Register.

Step 4: Select the courses you wish to register by ticking them.

Step 5: After ticking the Courses that you wish to register, Click on “Add Courses”

Step 6: Next click on ” Continue “, from there you’ll be taken to another page, which would display “NOUN COURSE REGISTRATION. Here is your Course Registration Summary.

Step 7: Click on “Register Courses” to reister the courses displayed that you selected or you click on cancel if you noticed any mistake.

 

NB: if you click on Register courses you’re confirming that the courses you ticked are correct, there isn’t room for any correction again.

Once you’re through you’ll get a successful message, you can now proceed to print the course you registered.

 

 

How To Check Your Results:

Step 1: Login into your account on the to National open University of Nigeria Portal Students portal.

Step 2: On the Students Login page click on “Courses”

Step 3: Select ” My Results ” from the drop down options.

Step 4: The next page would display all your results from your very first semester to your current semester. Click on the one you wish to check and view it.
