How To Activate Your App

For first-time Mobile Banking customers

If you’re a new Ecobank Mobile user:

  1. Download the app and click on New User to register
  2. Once registered, you’ll receive an SMS with a one-time 6 digit PIN
  3. Log-in to the app with the 6-digit PIN
  4. Change the PIN to a new 6-digit PIN of your choice
  5. To access your bank account on the app, visit any Ecobank branch and fill in an activation form

For existing mobile customers

How to download your new mobile app:

  1. Go to the app store on your mobile device (Nokia App store, Google Play,
  2. Blackberry App World and Apple App Store)
  3. Type Ecobank Mobile, find the app, then click Install
  4. Once the app is installed, exit the app store
  5. To launch the app, click on the Ecobank Mobile icon on your mobile phone
  6. To verify your mobile device, dial *326# using your registered number and perform a PIN change
  7. Log-in to the app and start banking

    • It is not compulsory that you have an ATM card before you can withdraw Money from your account, you can do that at the bank. If you do need ATM Card for convenience sake, you could get one at the bank.
