Requirements For The Fcmb Online Account Opening Processes

1. A Scanned copy of your signature.
2. A Scanned copy of your recent passport photograph.
3. A scanned copy of your birth certificate will be required for people below 16 years of age.

The FCMB Online Account Opening Process

1. Visit the official website at onlineaccount.fcmb.com
2. Navigate to the bottom of the page to find some quick links.
3. Click on the “GET STARTED” tab.
4. This will redirect you to another page where the online account opening request form would be displayed.
5. Fill in the form as follows.
6. Select Nigeria under the country of residence.
7. Select any of the following as it suits you best: My kid, myself, I am an existing FCMB customer, I am a new customer.

Note that all boxes with the red asterisks are compulsory.

1. Input a valid email address.
2. Input your date of birth (DOB) in the order dd/mm/yyyy where dd- day, mm- month and yyyy-year.
3. Enter your bank verification number (BVN)
4. Input your referral code if you have one.
5. Navigate to the button of the page and check the terms and condition of the service.
6. By clicking continue, you have automatically agreed to the terms and condition of the service.
7. After clicking continue, you would be taken to a page where your personal details would appear pre filled. This happens because all your details can be gotten from only your bvn number.
8. Scroll down to the contact information section below the page. k. Input your house number, street, country, state, city/town, email address, and phone number for.confirmation.
9. Next, upload your signature by signing on a piece of paper, take a snap shot of the signature on the paper, crop it and then upload the picture. All should be done with your mobile phone.
10. Upload your passport photograph by also cropping any of your picture that can suit the purpose.
11. Hit the complete button.
12. After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation message which goes thus;

Dear (your name)

You have successfully submitted your account opening form and will receive your account number shortly. If we need additional information we will contact you.
