Federal University Of Agriculture Abeokuta Student Registration Processes And Check Result

The Federal University of Agriculture situated in Abeokuta, Ogun State was formally a merger of four Nigerian universities of Technology who joined ties in 1984. The merger was broken in 1987 and on January 1st 1988 the Federal University of Agriculture popularly called FUNAAB was established and operated five colleges at the time of inception, namely:

  • College of Agricultural Management, Rural Development and Studies (COLAMRUCS)
  • College of Environmental Resources Management (COLERM)
  • College of Natural Sciences (COLNAS)
  • College of Plant Science and Crop Production (COLPLANT)

The school is a federal government run research university ably managed by its Vice Chancellor Acting V.C Prof. Ololade A. Enikuomehin.

 

Admission Into FUNAAB

Prospective applicants who seek admission in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta must possess minimum entry requirements of five (5) O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.

 

Admission Process

Prospective students seeking admission into the school should note that admission process is carried out online and onsite at the school’s portal. Firstly, prospective students should fill the pre-admission screening form on the university’s website via http://admission.unaab.edu.ng/loginPASstatus.php. The page when opened will request for the prospective student’s JAMB/UTME Registration Number, input and click on the CHECK button.

 

This page evaluates entry students for eligibility to study at FUNAAB, also the page will generate a Pre-admission Screening Application Invoice of Two Thousand and Five Hundred Naira including REMITA fees. Prospective students are to print the invoice and proceed to any Bank accepting REMITA payment for payment or they can also pay Online using Internet Banking or a Debit Card.

 

Prospective students should also note that the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise is a mandatory requirement for both Direct Entry and UTME admission into the FUNAAB.

On completing FUNAAB pre-admission screening test, Successful candidates within the capacity of the institution will be offered admission and they will be required to undergo an intensive ICT Training and Orientation Programme to prepare them for life in FUNAAB.

Students of FUNAAB have the levity of checking their results either on the school campus as they are pasted in departments and faculties or most preferably online via the school’s website http://www.unaab.edu.ng/

Here students should input their Matriculation number and password to gain access to their results.
