How To Open An Account

• Dial *326# from a mobile device with an active SIM card.
• Select 1 from the screen message that pop. Input your first name.
• Input your last name too.
• Fill in your date of birth in the next prompt.
• Choose your mode of identification from the list provided.
• Choose your gender
• Confirm if you want to open the xpress account. After confirming, you will receive a notification immediately for the account opened in which your phone number becomes your account.
• A one time password (OTP) of six (6) digits will be sent to you which will  be used to change to your preferred easy to remember but hard to guess PIN. This PIN authorizes all your transactions.

How To Change Your PIN

• Using your mobile line Via which the account was registered, dial *326#
• Two options will be provided to you, either you change your one time password (OTP) or cancel. Choose 1 to change your password
• Enter the one time password (OTP) sent through an SMS.
• Input your six (6) digits password in the next step. After it has been confirmed, your account is ready for use.
• Now you can receive money into your account.
• Always remember that your account number is the same as your phone number without the first zero (0).

How To Transfer Money From Xpress Account

• From the mobile line through which the account was registered dial *326#
• Choose option 2 which is the send and receive option.
• Next , select the type of transaction if it is a domestic transfer or interbank transfer
• Next, select the source account from the list of Ecobank accounts linked to this mobile number in the case of multiple accounts, this is the account from which you will be debited
• Next, choose the bank of the beneficiary from the list you are given.
• For the next step input the account number of the beneficiary
• Enter the amount you want to send
• The next prompt reveals the name of the recipient for proper verification, confirm if its the name before you confirm the transaction with your PIN. After confirming the transaction, it will be sent immediately and you will receive your debit alert.
• For other transactions, just dial the code and choose the corresponding option from the list provided and then proceed till you confirm with your PIN.

How To Withdraw Money From Your Xpress Account

The process of Xpress Cash, enables Ecobank customers to withdraw cash from any of the over 1,000 Ecobank ATMs without a card.

The account holder simply generates a token pin (code) which enables him or her do a card-less withdrawal from any Ecobank ATM across the country or from an Ecobank agent. The token (code) generated can also be sent to anybody through a test message or WhatsApp and the recipient can withdraw cash from the ATM or agent.
