BRIEF HISTORY

University of Kenyatta is a public research university which was established in 1985 in Kahawa Nairobi Kenya. It was the third university to be established in Kenya after the Moi University and University of Kenya. According to the history in 1965, it was when the British handed over Templar barrack to Kenyans. The barrack was later converted to a college, in the 70’s Kenyatta College became a constituent college and its name change to Kenyatta University College after the Act of parliament.

The university campus is on 1,000 acres of land, constructed to provide genuine and conducive learning environment for intellectual growth, the university also offer high quality programmes and studies that attract prospects from neighbouring countries who wish to be globally competitive, in attempt to achieve this, the university invested on modern gadget to increase learning.

• Doctorate and PhD 14

The institution has an estimated number of 74,000 students spread throughout its various campus, it has over 1,700 academic staffs and 3,250 administrative staffs.

How To Pay School Fees

• School fees payment is basically done by visiting ku.ac.ke.com
• Navigate to the student portal and click on it
• On the student portal, log in detail will be requested which is the student’s registration number and password
• After successful log in, navigate and click on academic details
• At this point click on fees payment
• You will be directed to payment mode
• Then you will click on it and enter your ATM online transaction details
• Print out the payment receipt page preferably in coloured

How To Register Your Course

Course registration deals with your particular course for that session; ensure you know what course you’re registering. Simply follow the steps below

• Log on to the school website ku.ac.ke
• Navigate and click on the student portal
• On the student portal page enter your log in details
• After successful login navigate and click on academic details
• At this point, click on course registration
• On the registration page select the academic year and semester
• Once the general course pops up, click the ones pertaining to your year course
• Verify and submit, because once submitted the registration has been successfully done

How To Check Result

• To check your result kindly visit the school portal
• Navigate and click on student portal
• On the portal page, enter your log in details
• On the exam check page, enter your academic year and semester
• The result will be displayed on the site, where you can print
