Let’s start from the application phase. First begin by checking out the list of courses available in the distant learning center of the university of Lagos (UNILAG). Here are steps for the application;

1. Log on to the distant learning website, www.dli.unilag.edu.ng
2. Navigate and click on online application
3. Next is to click on pre application form
4. At the bottom of the page, click on start filling pre application form
5. Fill in the required information
6. Check your email for information that will contain your payment reference number.
7. Print the email and visit the bank to make payment
8. Relogin with your Reference Number.
9. Fill the form and upload your passport photograph
10. Print your examination slip and present at the examination

With this, you can write the examination and if you pass, you will be granted admission.

 

Registration Process

After you have been offered admission, you will need to begin your registration process. Here are steps to follow;

1. Log on to the UNILAG website, www.unilag.edu.ng
2. Navigate and click on students
3. From the drop down, select student login
4. Use your application number and surname as your username and password respectively. You are required to change your password after login.
5. Navigate and click on update Bio data, fill in the information and save it.
6. Next is to click on edit educational history.
7. Upload your letter of acceptance, handwritten letter of preparedness, passport photograph and reference letter from your sponsor.
8. Next is to print your admission letter from the admission letter tab
9. Next is to click on generate school fees and copy the RRR code
10. Click on pay advice to see your school fees payment advice
11. Proceed to pay School fees

How To Pay School Fees

There are two ways to make school fees payment. You can either pay online or via the bank. You can also make payment in installments. You can read about that at the school fees advice. Here are the steps to follow for the school fees payment;

1. You may visit the bank to pay with the RRR code or navigate to the payment tab online
2. Input your card details and confirm with your PIN.
3. Print the evidence of payment.

 

 

How To Register Courses Online

After a successful school fees payment, next thing is to register your courses online. Ensure that you are aware of the courses you are expected to register before going online for course registration. Here are steps for course registration;

1. Log on to the UNILAG website, www.unilag.edu.ng
2. Navigate and click on students
3. From the drop down, select student login
4. Use your application number and password
5. Navigate and click on course registration tab
6. Select the courses one after the other.
7. Verify the registered courses before submitting.
8. Print the course form after submitting.

Please note that your matriculation number will be assigned to you after a successful course registration which will in turn be your login username.
