University Of Eldoret Portal: How To Register Courses, Pay School Fees And Check Result

Eldoret University is a public university in Kenya, it is a non profit institution situated around Eldoret town, in the Uasin Gishu county, the school was originally founded in 1946 by the white habitant in the area, in 1984 it was changed to teachers training college and renamed Moi Teachers Training College to offer Diploma courses to science teachers. Due to double intake crisis in the school it was taken over as a campus for Moi University.

In 2010, the country president gave a legal notice and upgraded the campus into a University college with the name Chepkoilel University College, as a constituent of Moi University.

In year 2013, after the receipt of charter award from the country’s president, the college’s name was changed to University of Eldoret, and which has been its name till date.

The University offers various programmes which include a Diploma course, under graduate course, Graduate and short course program, Masters and PhD program.

The University Vice Chancellor is Prof Teresa Akenga, the school hosted over 25,000 undergraduate and 8,000 post graduate students. And it offers the following programs

The institution admission rate ranges between 30-40% making it a higher institution of learning for all; international applicants from other countries are also welcomed to the school enrolment. Facilities to ensure conducive learning includes a library, sport center, financial support, hostel housing scheme and scholarship programmes.

The yearly tuition fee of the University for local undergraduate student is between the range of $1,000-2,500 and $1000-2,500, while for international students the tuition range is between $1,000-3,000.

 

 

How To Register; Pay School Fees And Check Results

All student of Eldoret University are expected to comply with the school instruction of fees payment; the registeration exercise can onlu be successful after the full tution fee has been paid. Except on special grounds which involves the intervention of the vice chancellor, who will approve a suitable payment plan for such student who cannot afford to pay up at once, in such instance the student will be required to fill a fee debt guarantee form, and which will be approved and duly signed by the supervision head. Failure to comply with the fees payment plan will result to exclusion of the student from the result list.

School fees are paid in required amount to the school specified bank and upon receiving the bank slip for verification of payment, the registration is secured.

It is only after the process of payment that course registration can be successfully done, it involves student going online to register their course on the school website. And consecutive numbers of days. The course must have been approved by the course supervisor.

After the examination process followed by short intervals. the student result will be released online; which is seen as a more resourceful and efficient way of releasing results. Student are then advised to go online to the school website and check the result with their registration details.
