Afe Babalola University is a Nigerian private higher institution of learning founded in 2009. It is owned by a well known lawyer and philanthropist, Barrister Afe Babalola. The institution is situated in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State and it is fondly referred to as ABUAD. The institution has her motto in Latin which is translated as “Labor for service and Integrity”
Afe Babalola University has her academic programmes structured into eight (8) colleges which include college of Law, college of Engineering, college of medicine and health sciences, college of Sciences, college of Agriculture, college of social and management sciences, college of Arts and Humanities and postgraduate college. The university has both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

How To Pay School Fees
To make school fees payment online via the university portal, kindly follow the steps below;
- Log on to the university portal, https://portal.abuad.edu.ng
- Login with your UTME registration number and “password” as password
- Update all biodata and ensure you check through it all
- Upload your passport photograph
- Navigate to the fees set up
- Choose your bedding option
- The fee schedule will be displayed on the following page. Please note that after here you can’t change your bedding option. If you want to change your bedding option, simply back it and choose another.
- Next is to click on payment and from the drill down menu, select add payment
- Next is for you to input the amount you want to pay and click on add payment.
- A payment invoice will come up which you may either print, take it to the bank and make payment with the transaction ID or proceed to make payment online.
- To make payment online, click on quickteller icon below the page
- On the next page, input the transaction ID, your email address and phone number and click on continue
- Verify the details and then click on pay.
- Input your ATM card details
- An OTP (One time password) will be forwarded to you via SMS which you will be required to enter to complete the payment.
- The transaction will be completed and a receipt will come up which you may print.

How To Register Courses
Course registration may be done via the portal after school fees payment and Hostel allocation. It is important that you know courses to register before going online. Here are steps for course registration;
- Log on to the university portal, https://portal.abuad.edu.ng
- Login with your details
- Click on manage course
- From the drill down, select course registration
- Select session and semester
- Select the courses and verify all before you submit.
- Print evidence of course registration.
How To Check Results
To check your results on the institution portal, kindly follow the steps below;
- Log on to the university portal, https://portal.abuad.edu.ng
- Login with your details
- Click on results
- From the drill down, select check results
- Select session and semester and hit the submit button.
The results will be displayed on the next page. If the results are not displayed, you may have to check back.
