kwararafa university is one of the universities in the North Eastern part of Nigeria. The license was granted in 2005 and it began her full academic operations in 2006. This university is acknowledged as the first university owned and managed by the community in Nigeria as well as the first university in Taraba state.

 

The institution has three colleges which include College of Education, College of Natural and Applied Sciences and College of Management and Social Sciences.
