How To Register For Imo State University Post Utme, Admission Requirements And All You Must Know

The Imo State University, IMSU, situated in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria and was founded in 1981. IMSU is a state government owned institution that was accredited for recognition of its available programs by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Programs offered in the institution are; the Undergraduates degree program (including Direct Entry) and the Postgraduates program.

 

 

Imo State University Admission Requirements

The entry requirements for Imo State University Undergraduates degree program for all the prospective JAMB/ UTME candidates are stated below:

1. Compulsory selection of the institution as part of the Choice of University/ Institution in the JAMB/ UTME form (preferable as First Choice)
2. All the prospective candidates have been necessitated to have a minimum of Five (5) Credits in the institution approved O’level result; which include WAEC, GCE, SSCE, and NECO

Minimum of two (2) sittings for applicants who wished to use a combined O’level result

3. A minimum score of 180 in the JAMB/ UTME for all applicants, and
4. A compulsory pass mark (at least credit mark) in English Language and Mathematics. In addition to the other three subjects (relevant)

 

 

How to Register For Imo State University Post Utme

To register for the Imo State University Post Utme Screening exercise, applicants are to follow the below stated steps

1. All applicants are to log on the institution website; https://www.imsu.edu.ng/site/
2. Tap on the “Prospective Students” button
3. Scroll to 2017/2018 Academic Screening Application
4. Tap on “ Click to Apply” button
5. Fill in the Applicant JAMB Registration Number in the provided space
6. Provide a valid “E-mail Address” in the space provided
7. Enter the “Phone/ Mobile Number”. This must be valid
8. Tap on the “Submit Button”
9. Proceed to generating of the Payment Invoice in the next page
10. Visit any of the institutions provided banks for the payment

Payment should be done on the E-transact Platform. Below are the provided banks:

• IMSU Microfinance Bank

Note, Applicants must receive an e-transact confirmation order pin from the bank

11. Log on back to the website to return to the previous page (Application Page)
12. Re-enter the applicant’s “JAMB Registration Number”
13. Fill in the confirmation pin into the space given
14. Enter all other required information (must be valid)
15. Upload all necessary credentials
16. Tap on the “Submit” button to end the application

All applicants must ensure that the provided information was re-confirmed

17. Make a print out of the Application Slip also known as the acknowledgment slip
