Runtown was born on the 19th August, 1989. His real name is Douglas Jack Agu. He is a Nigerian songwriter, singer as well as a producer. Since he began his musical career, he is known with a number of musical style which include Rap, hip-hop, reggae and RnB. In small word count, he is a gifted singer.

Douglas Jack Agu had his primary school education in Lagos and his secondary school education in Enugu State. He is said to be pursuing a degree in a fashion school in New York.
