The Yaba college of Technology is the first institution of higher learning in Nigeria. The college is fondly referred to as Yabatech and situated right in Yaba, Lagos State. It was established in 1947. The institution offers both part time and full time courses at national diploma (ND), higher national diploma (HND) and postgraduate levels.

For national diploma (ND) admissions on part time basis, you are required to possess a five credit passes in O level results in relevant subjects. The O level results must not be more than two sittings and must be added to a good UTME score. Please note that you will be required to write and pass post UTME screening.

 

 

Higher National Diploma (HND) Admission Requirements For Part Time

For higher national diploma (HND) programs on part time basis, you must have completed a national diploma program with a minimum of lower credit result. This will be considered alongside your O level results which must be five credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.

1. Log on to the institution website, http://www.yabatech.edu.ng
2. Navigate and click on online application
3. Navigate to register here and fill the form to create an account. Please use an active email address and phone number.
4. Login to your account to complete your application by uploading relevant document and information.
5. Make payment online with your ATM cards and get the evidence of payment printed.
6. Get your screening date, be prepared, attend and pass to get a space for admission.

Things To Know About Yabatech Admission Processes And Requirements

1. The application fee for those combining results is different for those using one O level results. Be sure you are paying the appropriate sum so as not to pay another.
2. Make no mistake with name spellings during application, you won’t be able to change it.
3. Your O level results subjects must be relevant to the intended course or you lose the admission.
4. Your UTME subjects combination is very important. Please be guided and ensure you have a good score at least 150 upward.
