The University of Lagos happens to be one of the oldest universities in Nigeria today. The institution was established in 1962 and it has churned out thousands of graduates over its 5 decades of existence. A lot of her graduates are well to do in the society and have impacted Nigeria to a great deal.
Today, we want use this opportunity to inform all the candidates who applied for admission into the University of Lagos (Unilag), that the senate and school management has released their post utme exercise results for the 2019/2020 academic session.
We are pleased to inform you that all those who chose the Institution as their choice in the 2019 UTME and took part in the UNILAG Post UTME Screening exercise can now go and check their admission status online by following the instructions provided below.
Here Is How To Check UNILAG Post UTME Screening Results
Please note that the University of Lagos 2019/2020 Aptitude Test Results (Post utme) released can be access by following the procedure below;
- All candidate should visit the UNILAG Screening result checking portal at http://putmeresult.unilag.edu.ng/
- Then enter your JAMB Registration Number in the required column
- After which, click on the Check Result button to view your performance or score. Once done, the next stage should be the released of the University of Lagos cut off marks for individual departments and eventually the UNILAG admission lists for 2019/2020 session.

The Admission Requirements For Arts, Social Sciences And Management Sciences
- For Arts Students
All candidate should possess a minimum of five credit passes in mathematics, English, literature in English, government, economics and biology either in WAEC (West African Examination Council) or NECO (National Examination Council) in not more than 2 sittings and WAEC/NECO can be combined, but must not be more than 2 years apart.
- For Social Science and Management Science Students
All candidates are expected to have at least five credit passes in mathematics, English language, economics, accounting and biology, either in WAEC (West African Examination Council) or NECO (National Examination Council) in not more than 2 sittings and be informed that WAEC and NECO results can both be combined for admission process but must not be more than 2 years apart.
Please note that all candidate must have at least 200 pass mark in JAMB to qualify for internal screening by the University of Lagos.
The Admission Requirements For Science And Engineering Students
- All candidates must possess at least 5 Credit passes in mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Technical drawing (Engineering Students) either in WAEC (West African Examination Council) or NECO (National Examination Council) in not more than 2 sittings and be informed that they can be combined, that is, WAEC and NECO, but must not be more than 2 years apart.
- All candidate must have at least 200 pass mark in JAMB to qualify for internal screening by the University of Lagos.
Please note that each of the departments and courses have their specific requirements as made available by the senate of the school. And all the requirements are published and updated yearly by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.
