Higher National Diploma

The Higher National Diploma programme is available for the following courses:

Eligibility And Requirements

Candidates applying for the daily part time HND programme must have the following qualifications:

  1. They must possess National Diploma
  2. They must have at least five credit passes in their O’level results at not more than two sittings
  3. They must have been certified for a one year Industrial Training programme
  4. If you have taken the screening for the full time HND programme but were unable to meet the cut off mark, you can also apply for this programme.

You can apply through the application portal at www.polyibadan.edu.ng or www.dpp.polyibadan.edu.ng. Visit any of these portals and follow the onscreen commands to apply.

 

Application Cost

If you are applying for the first time, the part time programme application will cost you twelve thousand and five hundred naira (#12,500) only and you can pay on the portal. If you applied for the full time programme however, you will be required to pay five thousand naira (#5000) only using your debit card or the Interswitch payment platform as well.

 

 

Procedures For National Diploma Students

Candidates seeking to offer the National Diploma programme can also apply to take their courses on a part time basis in the following faculties:

  1. Faculty of Science
  2. Faculty of Environmental Studies
  3. Faculty of Engineering
  4. Faculty of Business and Communication Studies
  5. Faculty of Financial Management Studies

 

Candidates are to make payments on the online application portal at www.polyibadan.edu.ng. They are also required to create an account for completing the application process and printing their slips.

 

Part time National Diploma students are expected to take the Utme examination and chose the Polytechnic Ibadan as their first choice. Applicants who did not choose the polytechnic at all but now want to change their institution are also eligible. Applicants for part time National Diploma are also expected to sit for the post utme screening.
