Full List Of Illegal Universities In Nigeria And All You Must Know About Them

The National Universities Commission (NUC) wishes to inform the general public that the institutions listed below have not been licensed by the Federal Government. These “Degree mills” have been closed down  for violating the Education (National Minimum Standards etc.) Act CAP E3 Law of the Federation of Nigeria 2004. The “Universities” are:

Furthermore, the under listed Degree Mills are undergoing further investigations and/or ongoing court actions. The reason for these actions is to prosecute the administrators and recover illegal fees, levies and charges on subscribers.

For the sake of clarity, anybody who patronizes or obtains any certificate whatsoever from any of these illegal/fake institutions does so at his or her own risk.

These Certificates will not be recognized for the purposes of NYSC calling, employment, and further studies.

Law enforcement agencies have also been notified for further necessary action.
