The Federal University Oye Ekiti FUOYE, is a university owned by the government. It is located in the city of Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State Nigeria. It was founded in the year 2011 by the federal government under the regime of Former President Goodluck Jonathan. It has been in operation since then with their motto as Innovation and Character for National Transformation.

 

His Royal Majesty, Dr. Michael Idakwo Ameh Obini, The Attah Igala was made the chancellor of the university with honour, and Professor Kayode Soremekun was given the position as a vice chancellor. The University has about 11,800 student at present, and 10,800 of them are undergraduates while the rest of them are postgraduate student.

 

The university has 7 faculties and a school postgraduate studies.

The school has been poised to boost the educational system not only here in Africa but also to the rest of the world.

The university offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, in different fields of study.

 

The first graduating set of student from this university were the 2015 set.

Federal University Oye Ekiti FUOYE was among the nine different university established by the federal government by an order made by His Excellency Dr. Goodluck  Ebele Jonathan.

FUOYE started the postgraduate school in February 2018. That was earlier this year

The University first vice chancellor was Prof Chinedu Nebo.

Requirements For Admission Into The Federal University Oye Ekiti

1. Candidates must have at least five O’level credit passes in their relevant subject combination. These passes should be obtained at not more than two sittings.
2. Candidates using direct entry programmes must have a minimum of two A’level passes in their relevant subject or its approved equivalent. Or they should possess a reasonable first degree course in a different field of study.
3. All candidates must have scored a mark of one hundred and fifty and above in their Jamb utme examination and should have chosen federal university Oye Ekiti FUOYE as their choice of institution.

 

 

How To Apply For Admission To Federal University Oye Ekiti.

Each candidate is to pay the sum of two thousand naira only to the school through their website ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme

1. Log on to the site above and log in by providing the required info.
2. Complete your pre-filled details and update your portal.
3. After you have updated your portal, a link will be sent to your email address. Verify your email address by clicking this link sent to you.
4. Log in once more and make payment.
5. After payment, complete your registration.
6. Print out your slip.

1. Visit the school portal at ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme/
2. Log in to your portal by filling the boxes with the required details.
3. Click ‘Admission Status’ to check your admission status.

If you have been addmited, pay your acceptance fee, and also do not forget to accept your admission on the Jamb Caps.
