The Plateau State University Nigeria, PLASU, is state government-owned university that was established in 2005. PLASU, as popularly known, is situated at Bokkos, Plateau State in Nigeria. The institution was accredited by the National University Commission (NUC) in 2006 for its recognized program. Faculties in the institution are stated below:

PLASU Admission Requirements

The entry requirements for the prospective JAMB/UTME candidates seeking admission into The Plateau State University Nigeria, PLASU are stated below:

  1. All prospective candidates must be over 16 years of age
  2. All Candidates must choose the institution as part of their Choice of University (preferable FIRST CHOICE) in the UTME form.
  3. All candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits passes in relevant subjects including English Language and any other relevant subject either in SSCE, GCE, and any other approved certificate examination by the institution.
  4. Candidates Cut-off mark must be at least 200 in the conducted UTME/ JAMB examination and must also beat the present/current cut-off mark of the institution
  5. All of the Five (5) credit passes in the O’level examinations should not be more than two sittings.

Faculty Requirements In Addition To The Compulsory Subject (English Language)

Faculties Additional O’level Requirements
Faculty of Management Science Economics or Commerce
Faculty of Arts Literature in English and other Arts subjects, including (Government, History)
Faculty of Social Science Mathematics, and other Arts subjects

Note; for psychology, mathematics and biology are also required
Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology

 

 

How To Check The Admission List For PLASU

For you to be eligible to check for Plateau State University Nigeria, PLASU, admission list, all the needed entry requirement by the institution must be available. The institution admission list can be checked as follows:

  • Enter the applicant Password (Surname) into the provided space
  • Click on the button “Admission Status”
  • Tap on the button “Login” to view the candidate admission status

Note to all candidates; the admission list is available only to candidates who sat for the Post UTME screening test and also beat the cut-off mark of the institution.
