How To Migrate To MTN Xtraspecial, The Benefits And All You Must Know

MTN XtraSpecial tariff plan is among the categories of the just introduced bundle plan package by the MTN Nigeria. This service is made available mainly to offer a cheap rate “flat rate” for all forms of calls; “Local Calls” and “International Calls”.

This service plan has been enjoyed in the past by the postpaid tariff plan users. Restriction of this service to the postpaid customers alone has been changed and now made available to all the MTN registered number and the Prepaid tariff plan users.

How To Migration To MTN XtraSpecial

Migration to this service has been made easy as no special program or much stress is required. To all the eligible users of this service, “all MTN registered number” and the “Prepaid tariff plan users”, below are the important and compulsory steps taken for a successful migration into the

MTN XtraSpecial:

The mobile number must be a registered one or on a prepaid tariff plan
Dial the migration code *408#
Select 1 in the option page

Or simply dial *408*1#

Migration can also be done by:

Dialing *123#
Selecting 2 in the option page
Choosing 3 in the option page

Or simply dial *123*2*3#

This plan can be migrated to by also texting the code “408” to 131 and following the necessary steps compulsory by the service provider.

All further migration to this tariff plan after the first migration will cause an extra charge of N100.

On MTN XtraSpecial, it should be noted that some services like the MTN N25 for 500MB Night Data plan will not be available.

Why MTN XtraSpecial Tariff Plan Package

This particular tariff plan is more preferable to other available tariff plans because of its unique qualities which include the less charges for International calls and Local calls. MTN XtraSpecial plan does not compulsory day to day service subscription or monthly subscription plan.

It permits lesser call charges for calls made within the country (Local Calls) and outside the country at a rate as low as 15 kobo per seconds (15k/secs). This charge rate is also called the FLAT RATE. Other services included are; bonus of Seven (7) days free subscription to every EPL Video and a share and sell service platform for local and international.

MTN XtraSpecial can be used for the below call system:

MTN-to-MTN calls (Local calls)

MTN-to- Other Networks (Local calls)

MTN- to- International Calls

Note: To enjoy the MTN- to- International Calls services, all international numbers to be used for this services must be selected in the service option to enjoy as low 11 kobo per seconds for the first second.
