Entry Requirements

Admission Requirements for the University of Abuja for all the JAMB/ UTME candidates

  1. It is necessary for the prospective candidates to have chosen the institution (University of Abuja) as being part of their “Choice of University/ Institution” in the JAMB/ UTME form.

This institution preferred being the First Choice

  • All the candidates must have a minimum of 180 score in the conducted UTME/JAMB examination
  • Candidates must also beat the present/current cut-off mark of the institution.
  • Every candidate seeking admission must possess a minimum of five (5) credits passes in all relevant subjects including the English Language; relevant subjects must be related to their chosen course of study
  • All the O’level result to be used should not be more than two sittings.
  • All candidates must have passed the University of Abuja, Post UTME screening.

Note: the credit pass mark required in the English Language from the O’Level Result is compulsory for all the applicants (that is, all courses). While for all the Science-based courses, Accounting, Sociology, Geography, Economics, and Remedial Science Program, Candidates must have an attempt in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the O’Level Examinations.

 

Further requirements for are:

  • A copy of the applicant’s JAMB result slip
  • An original document of the O’Level Result certificate

Note; the University of Abuja does not accept Awaiting results

  • A copy of the Statements of the Results
  • A copy of the Admission Status Slip/ Acknowledgment Slip
  • The original copy of the birth certificate/ birth declaration
  • An Attestation Letter
  • A copy of the candidate’s Local Government of Origin certificate
  • The Post UTME screening form
  • Copies of the passport photographs (Recent)
