How To Use The Uniben Waeup Kofa For Postgraduate Candidates And All You Must Know

The university of Benin fondly called Uniben is one of the universities of high repute in Nigeria. The university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. On either side of the academic pursuit, there are several courses available for suitably qualified candidates. Postgraduate courses in the university of Benin comes in different academic make up and at different levels. These levels include Masters, Doctor of philosophy and  Postgraduate Diploma. At each of these postgraduate levels, there are lots of courses. Academic Requirements For Postgraduate Courses

The academic qualifications required for each of the courses depends on the level of the postgraduate courses. For postgraduate diploma courses, a third class honor in first degree. For masters, a PGD is acceptable in relevant field or a degree with not less than second class lower honour in relevant field. For M.Phil, Masters degree with Weighted Average Score

(WAS) of 55% to 59% is required. For the Ph.D programmes, it requires a weighted average score of 60% or grade ‘B’ average in the Masters degree. Also, there are specific course requirements for each of the courses. In addition to these requirements, five credit passes in O level results (WAEC, NECO or GCE) are required. This must not exceed two sitting.

Application Procedures

Postgraduate application at the university of Benin begins with knowing the course you want to apply for and checking to see if you meet up. If so, you may then visit the portal to apply online. Then click on start new application. It will take you to a new page where you can read the instruction. You will be required to make payment with your ATM card here. This is your application fee. Then you can fill the form online. Please take your time within the given time so as to prevent issues.

You are as well required to request for your transcript from your previous institution. It should be forwarded to university of Benin via email, postgrad@uniben.edu.ng. Also, you are to inform your referees to write about you and forward to the university of Benin on your behalf.

After a successful application, you may now use the uniben waeup kofa to create a profile and access both your academic profile and information. To log on to the uniben waeup kofa for postgraduate students, please log on to https://uniben.waeup.org/login and then login with your user ID and password. You may then navigate through the menu to do whatever you fill like doing.
