Imo State University: How To Register Courses, Check Result And Pay School Fees

The Imo state university also known as is one of the notable state universities in Nigeria situated in Owerri, Imo state, Nigeria. The institution was established in 1981 and has since its inception grown in all ramifications. The university was once considered to be the best among its state university counterparts and one of the best in the Nigerian list of universities.

 

The university offers academic programmes in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It also offers the courses on both part time and full time basis. These courses are scattered across different faculties. The faculties include Faculty of Social Sciences, Education, Agriculture and veterinary medicine, Humanities, Law, Medicine and Surgery, Engineering, Environmental science, Health sciences and Business administration.

 

Prospective candidates may apply into any of the numerous courses at undergraduate level through UTME. Such individual must possess five credit passes in WAEC or NECO in not more than two sittings. Postgraduate applicants must have attended a recognized institution with a good result and other specific requirements based on the postgraduate course. How To Register Courses

The very first step is to know the courses to register. You may confirm this from your departmental head or part adviser. To register courses as a student of Imo state university, kindly follow the steps below;

1. Log on to https://www.imsu.edu.ng/site/

2. Navigate and click on “Course Registration” under the undergraduate column

3. On the next page, login with your matric number and password

4. Navigate and click on course registration

5. Navigate and select the semester and session

6. Select the courses until you have fully register all the courses

7. Verify the courses and submit the course form.

8. Print the course form, you will be required to submit it in the department.

How To Pay School Fees

The institution has two payments modules. These are for the indigens and non indigens. The amount to be paid by both parties are usually different. The amount is also based on faculties. The payments are to be made into Imo state university microfinance bank and zenith bank for Freshers. Older students may follow the payment procedure at designated banks released the management of the school.

How To Check Results Online

Kindly follow the steps below to check your results online.

1. Log on to the institution website portal http://imsu.edu.ng/portal/crr/rloginforment.php

2. Login with your matric number and password

3. Navigate and click on the results panel

4. Select the session and semester you want to view its result

5. The results will be displayed before you.

In case you are asked to check back, it means the results have not been uploaded. You may exercise patience and check back for it to be uploaded.
