JUPEB Portal: How To Register And Check Examination Results Online

University admission has never been easy. It has always been the survival of fittest won by the brilliant ones in the time past. Today, it has become a game won b the affluent, those who their way around the lords of the universities. Either way, it has never been easy! This has made lots of students to look into other paths of admission such as predegree, JAMB direct entry, JUPEB etc. We shall look into the JUPEB option.

JUPEB means Joint Preliminary Examinations Board. It is an examination body in Nigeria. It is dated back to 2013 but was formally founded by a consortium of ten universities in Nigeria. It is a gateway to gain direct entry admission into Nigerian universities and foreign universities.

 

JUPEB has her programs runs between nine (9) and ten (10) months and it is moderated by the university Lagos in collaboration with other affiliated JUPEB universities in Nigeria. Some of the universities include UNILAG, UNIPORT, OAU, UNICAL, UNIBEN, LASLU etc. It is certified by Nigeria University Commission (NUC).

JUPEB Requirements And Application

To participate in JUPEB examinations, you will need to apply and go through the classes in any of the affiliated JUPEB universities. To apply for JUPEB, you will need to possess five (5) credit passes in o level results (WAEC, NABTEB, NECO or GCE) which should not be more than two (2) sittings. You will also need passport photographs and non refundable application fees. You will be required to make payment into the designated bank used by the university through which you want to enrol. You will then visit the institution website to fill the form and update your payment information. After this, you will be advised to check the university website frequently for  further information. Once you pass the preliminary screening you will offered admission for the JUPEB program.

How To Check JUPEB Results Online

To check your JUPEB results online, kindly follow the steps below;

1. log on to the JUPEB online portal, https://portal.jupeb.edu.ng/public
2. Navigate and click on check results
3. Input your JUPEB Exam Number and Surname (Father’s Name) in the spaces provided
4. Verify the inputted details and click on check.

The results will be displayed on the next page. Your results for each subject will be any of the grades A, B, C, D, E or F which means five (5) to zero (0) points respectively.

 

 

How To Use JUPEB Results

To use the JUPEB results, you will be required to obtain a JAMB direct entry form. Please note that you are required to have made a good point from the JUPEB results. The point you are required to acquire depends on your course of interest and university of choice. You can always check the cut off with the university of choice. Interestingly, the JUPEB results doesn’t expire. You can use it year after year.
