BRIEF HISTORY
Kisii University is a public university located in Kisii city of Kenya, it was originally founded in 1983, and it was reformed to a secondary teachers college and to offer Diploma programmes. In 1994, the government of Kenya mandated its university board to take over the college. This institution was among the first campuses to be created by the then Head of state Daniel arap Moi.
The institution went through several stages before it was established and known as Kisii University College in August 2013, through a government legal notice No. 163 of 2007, and was awarded a charter to become the 13th public university of Kenya.
ACADEMIC CAMPUS
The university is situated on a 61 acre of land, in the Kisii city of Kenya, and its building are constructed to convenience for their student in terms of learning and comfort, the library and labs are equipped with modern learning infrastructure to better improve the learning development of student and as a result affect their overall learning experience.

HOW TO PAY SCHOOL FEES
- School fees payment is basically done by visiting kisiiuniversity.ac.ke
- Navigate to the student portal and click on it
- On the student portal, log in detail will be requested which is the student’s registration number and password
- After successful log in, navigate and click on academic details
- At this point click on fees payment
- You will be directed to payment mode
- Then you will click on it and enter your ATM online transaction details
- Print out the payment receipt page preferably in coloured
How To Register Your Courses
Course registration deals with your particular course for that session; ensure you know what course you’re registering. Simply follow the steps below
- Log on to the school website kisiiuniversity.ac.ke
- Navigate and click on the student portal
- On the student portal page enter your log in details
- After successful login navigate and click on academic details
- At this point, click on course registration
- On the registration page select the academic year and semester
- Once the general course pops up, click the ones pertaining to your year course
- Verify and submit, because once submitted the registration has been successfully done
How To Check Result
- To check your result kindly visit the school portal
- Navigate and click on student portal
- On the portal page, enter your log in details
- On the exam check page, enter your academic year and semester
- The result will be displayed on the site, where you can print
