Mount Kenya University: How To Register Courses, Check Result And Pay School Fees Online

Mount Kenya university is a private university in Kenya founded in 1996 with lots of campuses scattered across Kenya. The university is a big one with more than 6000 staff strength and over 55,000 students strength. The university has her main campus at General Kago Road, Thika in Kenya.

 

Mount Kenya university offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It has eight schools, one institute and one college. These are School of Business and Economics, School of Social Sciences, School of Education, School of Pure and Applied Sciences, School of Law, School of Engineering, Energy and the Built Environment, School of Computing and Infomatics, School of Postgraduate Studies, Institute of Film, Creative and Performing Arts and College of Health Sciences. The university has a total of 231 academic programmes in various capacities. The programmes include Doctor of Philosophy (PHD), Masters, Executive Masters, Post Graduate Diplomas, Bachelors, Diplomas and Certificate programmes.

 

You may apply into any of her academic programmes by either downloading the application form online, filled it and submit with relevant supporting documents or you may simply do that online. Note that in any of the cases, you must have paid the application fee. This application fee amount depends on the programme you are applying for. Please note that admission is strictly base on academic qualification and on first come first serve basis.

1. Log on to the university website http://www.mku.ac.ke
2. Navigate and click on “Students”
3. On their next page, login with your student ID and your password.
4. Navigate and click on “Fees”
5. Click on “statement of fees” to view the fees breakdown and total of the fees to be paid.
6. Click on the tab to pay the fees.
7. Follow the steps gradually to pay the fees at designated banks.

4. Navigate and click on the “course registration” tab
5. Select the session and semester
6. Select the courses and when you are done, click on submit.

 

 

How To Check Results Online

To check your academic results online, please follow the steps below;

1. Log on to the university website http://www.mku.ac.ke
2. Navigate and click on “Students”
3. On their next page, login with your student ID and your password.
4. Navigate and click on the “Results” tab
5. Choose the session and semester and click on submit.
