The university of Jos is a federal higher institution of learning with a long history traceable to the university of Ibadan. It was first a satellite campus of university of Ibadan in 1971. She began her academic activities in 1973 and was later accredited in 1975 by National Universities Commission. The university has grown to be what it is today through the thick and thin.
Today, the institution offers courses in both postgraduate and undergraduate levels on part time and full time basis. The academic activities are organized into faculties and institutes. The institution has twelve (12) faculties with over eighty (80) departments. How To Pay School Fees
All fees are payable online via remita. Students are to find out about their school fees and be sure it is the appropriate amount. Here are steps for the online payment;
- Log on to www.remita.net
- Navigate and click on Pay Federal Government Agency
- Input the university of Jos in the space provided
- Next fill in your details as required and verify they are all correct.
- Click to make payment with card or print to make payment at bank
- If online, input card details and make payment but if through bank, you will need to print the invoice, take it to bank and make payment.

How To Register Courses
For your course registration, endeavour to get an adequate information on courses to register, total course unit etc. Once you know these, you may proceed to course registration via the steps below;
- Log on to the institution portal, https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/students/index.php
- Input your login details, select undergraduate as programme type and hit the login button.
- Once successfully logged in, navigate to course registration
- Select the session and semester.
- Register the courses one after the other.
- Verify all registered courses and if there is no error, you may submit.
With this, your course registration is concluded. Make sure you print course forms for further registration.
How To Check Results
Checking your academic performance on UniJos campus can be as simple as walking to your departmental notice board to check pasted results. You can as well check online via the steps below;
- Log on to the institution portal, https://mis.unijos.edu.ng/students/index.php
- Input your login details, select undergraduate as programme type and hit the login button.
- Once successfully logged in, navigate to my results
- Select the session and semester and hit the submit button.
The results will be displayed on the next page. Please note that, it is only viewable upon upload. If the results are not uploaded yet, you may check back.
