Benue State University: How To Pay Tuition Fees, Register Courses And Check Result Online



Benue State University, Makurdi, is one of the top ranking state owned universities in Nigeria. Founded and accredited by the National Universities Commission in the year 1992, Benue State University was established to support the academic programmes offered by the then Federal University of Agriculture. Benue State University began roll-out of classes for the 1992/1993 with a little more than 400 students at that time.

 

Benue State University is an institution of repute especially in the middle belt region of the country and what makes the institution of higher learning most fascinating is the fact that Benue State University operates and manages two state-of-the-art libraries that can stand most tertiary institutional libraries globally; these libraries contain vast collections and volumes of over 22,000 Nigerian and international contents from vast authors, making the university a sought after research institute of higher learning.

Benue State University research libraries are divided into two, namely: The Law library and the institution’s official library both open from Mondays to Fridays 6am-10pm daily. This article will primarily focus on courses offered by the higher institution of learning along with the institution’s tuition fees and other information useful for admission into the school.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Admission into Benue State University requires the following minimum entry requirements: Credit pass in 5 subjects including Mathematics and English Languages at not more than two sittings in either SSCE/NABTEB/NECO/GCE-O/L. Direct entry candidates into Lead City University should are required be qualified with either a Professional qualification, NCE, OND, HND, University Diploma, IJMB, GCE A Level etc., candidates with these qualification on admission will continue from 200 level. Prospective candidates who are awaiting result can apply as long as evidence of results will be made available before the their classes resume. Benue State Universities offers studies to prospective students in five faculties.

PAYING BENUE STATE UNIVERSITY TUITION FEES

Prospective students into Benue State University have the following processes lined up to gain admission into the institution. All payments are carried out online via the school’s E-Payment portal but before then prospective students have to generate a customer ID to use when filling their bank payment slips.

Prospective students into Benue State University should visit the school’s website to generate and print out their customer ID details via portal.bsum.edu.ng/.

With newly generated customer ID prospective student should head to the bank where they will be given a payment slip over-the-counter. Prospective student should take note that it is of importance to clearly state purpose for payment on the slip and officially the payment description box should carry ‘College Pay’.

Prospective Students are to pay N4000 as admission fee and acceptance fee of N5500.

Payment Process

Customer ID is number generated by the E-Payment portal on the school’s website. Which students should guard studiously.

Insert Payment Code 04255101.

Enter mobile phone number.

Print the Payment slip.

USING THE QUICKTELLER OR INTERNET BANKING OPTION:

Prospective students should input their registration number

Prospective Students should provide contact details i.e Mobile phone number and email address

Prospective students should follow all the instructions for payment strictly.

On completion a payment slip will be generated online.

 

CHECKING OF RESULTS:



Students of the higher institution can check their results online via the school’s website. Students are required to provide login details to gain access to their personal information on the school website.
