Department Of Petroleum Resources (DPR): Their Office Addresses And How To Get DPR Certificate

The Department Of Petroleum Resources (DPR) was founded in 1970 and was since given the statutory responsibility of ensuring compliance to petroleum laws, regulations and guidelines in the Oil and Gas Industry. The discharge of these responsibilities involves monitoring of operations at drilling sites, producing wells, production platforms and flow stations, crude oil export terminals, refineries, storage depots, pump stations, retail outlets, any other locations where petroleum is either stored or sold, and all pipelines carrying crude oil, natural gas and petroleum products, while carrying out the following functions, among others:

As part of the body’s statutory functions, the DPR processes applications for various Licenses, Permits and Approvals across the entire Oil and Gas value chain. This ranges from Oil Exploration License (OEL) to Lubricant Retailers license. Information, Guidelines and Application forms for some of these Licenses/Permits can be retrieved here.

  1. High cost of fuel in Aba, Abia State. To Whom it may Concern: we8 report the sharp practices that all Fill Station is doing except Total Stations. They are selling fuel for between 170 to 200 Naira per litre. Dpr is not doing anything. The most unbearable is NNPC that is almost opposite DPR is selling at 170 per litre . This suppose to be the NNPC serving Aba people. With this altitude of Dpr, we don’t know who to believe between the minister and GMD of NNPC. Who is fooling who. Kindly provide us the phone number of Aba or Abia representative. We are not feeling the office at Aba .We intend to report to the Presidency if it continue till early next week.

  4. TO WHOM IT MAYN CONCERN

I AM WRITING TO INFORM YOU THAT SINCE THE BEGINING OF THE FUEL PROBLEM LAST YEAR TILL DATE, FILLING STATIONS IN SOKOTO STATE HAS BEEN CONFORTABLY AND RELAXINGLY SELLING FUELAT THE RATE OF #220 AND #200 PER LITRE. FOR THIS REASON, LONG CUE TO GET THE PRODUCT AT THE OFFICIAL PUMP PRICE HAS BEEN THE ORDER OF THE DAY IN AA RANO, NNPC STATION AND OANDO FILLING STATTION. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THERE IS NO DPR OFFICE OR AGENT HERE IN SOKOTO, EVEN IF THERE IS ONE, IT MUST HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED FOR THEM NOT TO SEE THIS UNGODLY AND DIRTY DEALINGS BY THE FILLING STATIONS OWNERS. PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO STOP THIS MENACE.
