Federal University Of Technology Akure Registration Processes And Check Result

The Federal University of Technology, Akure, fondly referred to as FUTA was established in 1981. It was born out of Nigeria’s goal to be technologically productive. It was among the five universities of technology created at time, others are in Abeokuta, Owerri, Minna and Yola. The institution is located in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.

 

The Federal University of Technology, Akure has eight schools or faculties which include School of Management Technology, School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, School of Environmental Technology, School of Agricultural and Agricultural Technology, School of Earth and Mineral Sciences, School of Science, School of Health and Health Technology and School of Postgraduate Studies. The university offers over 60 undergraduate courses and more than 40 postgraduate courses at different levels with about 2000 postgraduate students.

 

The university has continued to grow yearly increasing in both staff and students strength as well as in quality of education rendered. As at January, it was ranked 11th best university in Nigeria and the 2nd best university of technology by webometrics. The Federal University of Technology, Akure is no doubt an institution of prestige.

 

 

FUTA Registration Process

After been offered admission at the prestigious institution of learning, you will be required to accept admission by paying the non refundable acceptance fee. This will be followed by screening exercise. Such candidates are required to present their UTME result slip, O level results, UTME admission letter, birth certificate, Local Government of origin certificate and passport photographs. Please note both original and photocopies of these documents are to be presented. After a successful screening exercise, the candidate may now proceed to course registration. For course registration, kindly follow through the steps below to carry out your  registration:

  1. Log on to futaonline.com.ng
  2. Navigate and click on undergraduate portal
  3. Login with your matric number and password
  4. Navigate and click on courses to carry out your course registration.
  5. After registering the courses then submit the form.
  6. Print the course form. You will be required to submit it in your department.

How To Check Results Online

As a student of Federal University of Technology, Akure, you can view your semester results online. Kindly follow through the steps below:

  1. Log on to futaonline.com.ng
  2. Navigate and click on undergraduate portal
  3. Login with your matric number and password
  4. Navigate and click on My Results to view your results.
  5. Next is to select the session and semester you want to view the results.
  6. Click on Check Results and your results will be displayed. If the results have not been uploaded, it may tell you its unavailable. If its available, you may print it if you wish.
