What is a Cut Off mark?
A cut off mark is an agreed score set by an examination body or an institution to serve as the basis on which candidate would be disqualified or qualified for a certain thing.
In the case of universities, this thing is been given admission.
Each course in the university you applied to has its cut off mark, where by if candidate do not meet this agreed score, he or she will be disqualified.
The cut off mark for courses in the Federal University of Technology, Akure varies from each other, and I will be giving you a list shortly.
Apart from the cut off mark set by one’s university, there are also cut off marks set by JAMB themselves.
Now for the Federal University of Technology, Akure, the agreed cut off for every student no matter your course in the JAMB UTME examination is One hundred and eighty (180).
After having 180 in your JAMB UTME examination, you are then qualified to sit for the Post Utme Screening Exercise.
