Admission Requirements

Entry Equirement For The National Diploma (ND) Program

Admission requirements for ALL Candidates seeking admission into the National Diplomatic Program (ND) and the Higher National Diplomatic (HND) Program of The Rufus Giwa Polytechnic are stated below:

Minimum of five (5) credits passes in the O’level result (s) from the conducted WAEC,NECO, GCE, NABTEB and other recognized accepted certificate by the institution
All applicants must be over 16 years of age

Minimum of credits passes relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics

Not less than two sittings is required from the O’level result (s) in the above listed examinations and other recognized examination
Minimum of 150 from all prospective in the conducted UTME/JAMB examination
All candidates must have up to the faculties and departments current cut off marks

Admission Requirement For The Higher National Diploma {HND} Program

From the National Diploma (ND) certificate, a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA of 2.50) is required in the relevant field of study to the intended course of study.
All applicants must have industrial experience in Post-National Diploma for two years before being considered for admission.
