Lagos City Polytechnic: How To Register Courses, Check Result And Pay School Fees Online

The Lagos city polytechnic is a privately owned polytechnic located at Ikeja, Lagos state.  Established in 1990 by Engineer Baabtunde Odufuwa as the first private tertiary educational institution in Nigeria, it gained official recognition in 1995. The institution provides National Diploma courses in accountancy, banking and finance and business studies. It is accredited and recognized by the National Board for Technical Education.

 

Requirements For Admission

All admissions into the National Diploma (ND) programmes offered by the polytechnic are organized and monitored by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Boards (JAMB). The application form could be obtained from the institution for #5000 and such forms are to be completed and returned to the institution there after. Candidates must meet the minimum entry requirements for the program as laid down by NBTE.

 

  1. One Year Pre National Diploma (PRE-ND) Full-Time:

Candidates must possess four WASCE/GCE /SSCE/NECO/NABTEB Passes in at least four subjects releated to the programme at not more than two sittings.

 

  1. National Diploma (ND) Two Years (Full- Time) or Three Years (Part Time Weekends only)

Candidates must possess at least four credit passes in WASCE/GCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB OR four credit passes in related subjects obtained at Pre-ND examination of an NBTE Accredited Polytechnic or similar postsecondary Technical Certificates (NTC), National Business Certificate (NBC) with credit passes in all the trade modules, three academic subjects relevant to the JAMB-PCE examination which is conducted yearly.

 

  1. Higher National Diploma (HND) Two Years Full- Time or Three Years (Part Time Week end).

Acquisition of a National Diploma in the relevant NBTE accredited programme and at least one year post – ND student industrial work experience scheme (SIWES).

Specific Admission Requirements:

  1. One year Preliminary National Diploma (PRE-ND) Full time

(i) Accountancy

(ii) Banking & Finance

(iii) Business Studies

(iv) Secretarial Studies

 

Applicants must possess at least four credit passes in English,Maths and any two of :Economic,commerce,statistics,Geography,Accounts,Literature, Government,Business methods and one science subject (Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Agric) at WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB. For Secretariat Studies, Maths is not mandatory though it is desirable

 

B .NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND) TWO YEARS (FULL-TIME OR THREE YEARS(PART-TIME WEEKEND)

(i)Accountancy

(ii)Banking & Finance

(iii)Business Studies

 

Applicants must possess at least four credit passes in English,maths and any two of these subjects: Economics, Commerce,Statistics,Literature, Accounts, Geography, Business methods, Government, History and one science subject at WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB.

 

 

How To Pay School Fees

Tuition fees are payable once before registration but candidates may be allowed to pay in installments. Although it is a private educational institution the tuition is quite cheap and affordable at less than a hundred thousand. The institution does not provide accommodation.

 

 

How To Register Courses

-Log onto your account or register your own account with a special username and password, you can also reset your password or view your application status.

– After a successful login, select register courses and select your courses and then click save.

–  Click print to print your course form and then log out

 

 

How To Check Results Online

– Log onto your account using your username and password.

-Enter your unique profile and access your result by inputing your matric no and password

– Check and print your result

– Log out of your account
