Patoranking is a popular Nigerian musician, dancer, and TV personality. He was born to a family with Eboyi State origin. He was born as Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie in Lagos State on May 27, 1990. His stage name, Patoranking was given to him by a Jamaican artist that he met in Lagos. As we all know, it was derived from his first name, Patrick.

He grew up in Ijegun-Egba before his family relocated to Ebute Meta. He attended the local schools in the area, and immediately he finished his secondary education he started performing as a dancer at the regular street jams and fiesta.

As time went on, he started showing interest in singing, and in may 2012 he released his first song titled “Iya Bisi” featuring Qdot and Kbaj. After this, he released a second song “Up in D Club”.

His performance caught Timaya who then asisted him with vocals on ‘Alubarika’ this hit was referred to as his ‘Breakthrough track’.

After this, he worked more on his career by releaseing other hits and also featuring some other artist in songs like ‘Girlie O’ and ‘Murda’.

Patoranking has been in several relationships. He has even dated a Ghanian actress too. A girl Leila use to be his girlfriend before he became famous. She is based in Italy that was probably the reason behind the breakup. They were said to have a son after some pictures went trending on the internet, but it was later discovered that the boy in the picture was his younger brother.

But there was a time when another girlfriend, a British girl gave birth to a baby boy and he shared a photo of himself with his son. Patoranking has even confessed having a celebrity crush on Genevieve Nnanji the popular actress.
