Sokoto State Polytechnic: How To Register Courses, Check Result And Pay School Fees

The Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Sokoto was established by the Sokoto state government vides law no 2 of 2002. The polytechnic took off in July 2002 and became operational in two campuses with the following colleges.

• College of sceince and technology
• College of engineering
• College of administrative and business studies
• College of agriculture
• College of arts and humanities
• College of strategic and environmental studies
• College of basic and preliminary studies

 

Mode Of Admission

Prospective candidates must purchase the polytechnic admissiin scratch card and brochure from designated bank (Zenith bank) branches and post office in Sokoto after which the pin on the scratch card would be used in completing the online application form in the portal. Prospective students can then log onto the Umaru Ali Shinkafi polytechnic sokoto website at www.sospoly.edu.ng for the online completion of the application form. They should follow the instructions and procedures fir filling the online form strictly to avoid wastage and extra spending. When the admission batches are released, successful candidates could check their names inline or visit the polytechnic and check their names on the notice board in the two campuses.

Admission Requirements

Five credit passes in WASCE/SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Applicants must also have compulsory passes in English and Maths in SSCE/GCE and score a reasonable mark of at least 150 for lesser competitive courses and 180 for higher competitive courses in UTME to qualify.

– Collect your iffer of admission after paying #1200 at zenith bank

– Proceed to verification/confirmation venue with your original credentials.

– Make specified payment of school fees at Zenith bank sokoto and get your registration scratch card

– Collect teller and present at bursary department to collect receipt

– Obtain admission number from your department

– Log onto www.sospoly.edu.ng

– Use your scratch vard pin to create and activate your account

– Fill the forms and print your course registration form and payment confirmation

– Go to your department for departmental registration

– Proceed to confirmation/verification venue to obtain your exam cards and ensure to get your registration confirmation stamped
