University Of Agriculture Makurdi: How To Register Courses, Check Results And Pay School Fees

The university of Agriculture, Makurdi is a well known university in Nigeria with a long historical background. Although the university’s name sounds agricultural but it will be recurred that the institution has ten (10) colleges from which lots of courses spring forth. These colleges include College of Agronomy, College of Animal Science, College of Sciences, College of Agricultural Economics and Extension, College of Engineering, College of Management Science, College of Veterinary Medicine, College of Food Technology, College of Agricultural Science Education and College of Forestry and Fisheries.

The university offers courses on both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Interested applicants may go through the available courses in the institution, check out their requirements and apply accordingly. Note that apart from writing and passing the normal unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME), you will also have to write and pass post UTME. Only successful candidates may be considered for admission.

How To Pay School Fees

To make your school fees payment, you will need to begin by knowing the amount you are expected to pay. To do this, kindly log on to the university fees payment portal, fees.uam.edu.ng/ and then input your matric number to know your fees schedule.

After knowing the amount you are scheduled to pay, the next thing is to make the payment. There are a number of ways to make payment online. You will need to generate Remita Retrival Reference (RRR) for the transaction. Then you may now decide to either pay online or go to any commercial bank with the generated Remita Retrival Reference (RRR) to make payment. You can make payment online with your ATM card by inputting your card details and the payment will be done with SMS notification.

How To Register Courses

Course registration is an important step that shows that you are on as a student. Please find out about courses to register before you go online to register your courses, this is very important. Kindly follow the steps below;

Log on to the university portal, portal.uam.edu.ng/
Login with your matric number and password.
Navigate to the course registration tab
Select the session and semester
Add the courses one after the other
Verify the added courses and submit if there is no need for alterations
Print the course registration form and submit at appropriate places.

With these steps, you would have completed the course registration.

How To View Results Online

To view your academic results online via the institution portal, kindly follow the steps below;

Log on to the university portal, portal.uam.edu.ng/
Login with your matric number and password.
Navigate to the results tab and select my results in the menu
Choose your sessions and semester and then submit.

The results will be displayed on the next page. You may print the results if you wish. If the results are not there yet, it simply means it has not been uploaded. You may check back.
