Paypal Nigeria Came to existence on the 17th of june 2014. With the introduction of Paypal In Nigeria it is a happy time for online shoppers in the country as they can now signup and have a paypal account in Nigeria. However presently, Paypal account owners in Nigeria can only Send Money and make payment with the account but cannot Receive payment as at the time of writing this post but promised to be introduce later in future.
How To Open A Paypal Account In Nigeria
PayPal doesn’t charge a fee to open a PayPal account.

Goods and services – Purchase payments:
There’s no fee to use PayPal to purchase goods or services. However, if you receive money for goods or services (such as from selling an item on eBay), a fee is charged. The Fees section of the PayPal User Agreement has specific information. You can find the User Agreement by clicking Legal Agreements at the bottom of any PayPal page.
International Payments:
There is a fee when you send a payment to someone in another country or if you receive a payment from someone in another country. Please note that exchange rate fees also apply if there is a currency conversion. The Fees section of the PayPal User Agreement also has this specific information.
Withdrawing Money On Paypal:
You can withdraw money from your PayPal account to your bank account at no cost. If you prefer to receive a check, an admin fee will be applied. For more information please review the Fees section of the User Agreement. This feature is however not available in Nigeria for now but would be introduced in the future.
