There are a number of advantages with the transfer PIN. First, it is available for all customers irrespective of your mobile network operator. You also do not need internet connection and you can access your account from anywhere in the world. If you are outside the country, just make sure you are roaming and you can transact with the transfer PIN.

How To Register For The Transfer PIN

There are two (2) ways to register your Diamond Bank account with the new transfer PIN. You can either register with your debit ATM card or with your date of birth. In either of the ways, you need to have the phone number you registered with the account on because both process can only be done via the mobile number.

Here are steps for the registering of your account on the new code;

On your account number registered mobile number, dial *426#
Input the last six (6) digits of your debit ATM card if you want to register with your ATM card. If you want to register with your date of birth, input your date of birth in the format day, month and year (DDMMYY). That is, if your date of birth is 17th June, 1985, you will input 170685.
Input your Diamond Bank account number in the next prompt
Create a four (4) digits PIN and confirm it.

With these four steps, you have registered your account on the new transfer code.

What You Can Do With The Transfer PIN

With the new transaction code, *426# you will be able to register your account on it and create a PIN for yourself which can be used for any of the listed transactions.

To check account balance
To recharge airtime for your line and that of loved ones
To transfer fund to both Diamond Bank account and other banks
To change transaction PIN

How To Check Account Balance

To check your bank account balance, kindly dial 42600# on the registered mobile number and you will get account balance notification.

How To Change PIN

If you have compromise your PIN, simply dial *426*0# to change it to a new one you can easily remember but hard for anyone to guess.

How To Recharge Airtime

Here we will discuss how to carry out self recharge and recharge for friends. To do self recharge, please dial *426*amount#. That is, if you want to recharge N300 for yourself, simply dial *426*300# and your line will be recharged instantly.

To recharge another line, kindly dial *426*Amount*Phone Number#. That is, if you want to recharge N300 for 08087654321, just dial *426*300*08087654321# and it will be recharge instantly while you get debit alert. The maximum airtime recharge per day is N3,000 (Three thousand naira).

How To Transfer Funds

We discuss this in two (2) ways which is transfer of fund to other Diamond Bank user and to other bank users. To do either of these, kindly dial *426*Amount*Account Number#, select the bank and confirm the transaction with your PIN. The fund will be transferred immediately with instant debit alert. The maximum amount that can be transferred is N20,000 (Twenty thousand naira).
