Federal Polytechnic Idah: Course Registration Processes And Check Results Online

When it comes to technology and technical education in Nigeria, the federal polytechnic Idah is one of the first to reckon with. It is evident from the institution’s motto, “Technology for Self Reliance” and its academic programmes. It is a federal government owned and managed institution in Idah, Kogi State. It was founded in 1977 first as Idah College of Technology. The institution was approved by National Board for Technical Education to train competitive manpower for development.

The institution is has her academic programmes organized into schools and departments. The schools include School of Technology (SOT), School of Environmental Technology (SES), School of Continuing Education (SCE), School of Engineering (SOE), School of General and Administrative Studies (SOGAS) and School of Business Studies (SBS). The school offers both national diploma and higher national diploma on full time and part time basis.

Interested applicants may apply into any of the schools to study any of the available courses with a good o level results of not more than two sittings ( five credit passes in subjects that are relevant to the intended course of study), a good UTME score and a good post UTME score. For fresh students, once you have confirmed your admission online, the next thing is to proceed to acceptance fee payment by generating Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number through the website and making payment in the bank. Next is to print the admission letter after successful acceptance fee payment. You can now pay the school fees and begin the registration in full.

Course Registration

Before you begin your course registration, it is important that you know the courses to register. It is best to visit your department for this or check your departmental handbook. Students must have paid their registration fees and complete their forms. With this information, you may now proceed to course registration.

Navigate to the course registration tab
Login with your username and password
Choose the session and semester
Select the courses, verify and submit
Then print the course form for further registration.

Navigate to the results tab to check your results
Choose the session and semester and submit

The results will be displayed on the next page. If the results are not displayed, it probably means it has not uploaded and you may need to check back.
