Gombe state University is one of the youngest Universities in Nigeria today . It was established in the year 2004 and commissioned by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Gombe State University is located at Shamaki Ward, Tudun Wada, in Gombe ,the Capital of Gombe state. Gombe state is largely populated by the Fulani Tribe and it’s also a state that practices Jihad being home to the one Time Gombe emirate of pre-conditioned times .

WHAT IS A REMEDIAL PROGRAMME?

Remedial programs are programs designed to help close the gap between what a student knows and what they are  expected to know. They programs often target comprehension or arithmetic skills. Some times,some students are removed from their regular classroom and taught in a different one. It can be referred to as an extra boost for students who are failing behind and it runs for 6 months continuously.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR REMEDIAL PROGRAMME IN GOMBE UNIVERSITY

Candidates who wish to apply must have a minimum of three (3) RELEVANT credits and two passes in WAEC/NECO/NABTEB.

 

 

How To Apply

The Interested and qualified candidates should carry out the following:

– Visit the Gombe state University official website and use the students portal

-Read up Information for when the Remedial programmes application forms are available.

-If they forms are available,the candidates should proceed to The Bank mentioned on the School portal.

-Candidates are to Obtain the Application Forms from the school Registrar’s Office upon the presentation of receipt for the payment of Four Thousand Naira only at any Branch of the Stanbic IBTC Bank. Acc No.: 9202350664.

-The aspirants must Present the Teller to the School Bursar, Gombe State University and collect a receipt which is to be kept safely.

-After completion of forms,All completed forms should be returned to The School  Registrar for further processing.

 

Candidates should be on the watch out for the Examination date from the school portal and endeavor to buy the Application Forms before the deadline day that is displayed on the school portal. After the examinations , successful candidates who scaled through will have to report to the school Registrar’s office to beginning processing their files and commencement of lectures. It must be noted that Gombe state University is an adherent of strict Islamic Morality standards and every intending Candidate should be eager to absorb the laws and regulations being practiced in the University and its environment.
