How To Enroll On Lautech Distance Learning, The Requirements And Fees Involved

Today we want to use this medium to notify the public and all interested applicants that the lautech admission form into the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Programme is on sale.

The management hereby invite application from qualified candidates into its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in the Open and Distance Learning Centre of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso for its 2020/2021 Academic Session.

All You Need To Know About LAUTECH Distance Learning (DLC) Programme

The institution has operated a face to face educational model in Nigeria as their platform for training its undergraduate and graduate students. As they belief that knowledge is not a finished product has driven the institution to further its nest in the production of knowledge through the Open and Distance Learning mode to provide students the ability to fit learning around their lifestyles, which they effectively allow even the busiest person to further their career and gain new qualifications.

To make this happen, they have deployed available technologies to make learning easy and exciting for their students.

  • Lautech runs an academic programme for 3 levels, which are 100 level, 200 level and 300 level.
  • Please note that applicants can be admitted to any of their levels which depends on their earlier qualifications such as SSCE, OND, HND and BSC.
  • You can visit their portal to see the list of courses and levels of the application before proceeding. 
  • Lautech awards Bsc for all their ODL courses instead of the B.Tech for its conventional programmes. However, what this means is that for the main university courses, 100 level admitted students will have to spend 4 years for their courses, while the Distance learning will only spend 4 years.

THE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LAUTECH DLC 

  • All the applicants for 100 level programmes must possess minimum of 5 credit passes in their SSCE results such as WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB in not more than two sittings in relevant subjects to their proposed courses.
  • All 100 Level applicants must not write the JAMB UTME before they can apply for the DLC programme.
  • All candidates who participated in the 2020/2021 UTME examination and scored 180 can apply for the DLC programme whether you chose the institution in JAMB or not.

THE COMPUTER PROFICIENCY TRAINING

All candidate should note that computer proficiency training and test will be conducted for all applicants.

HOW TO ENROLL FOR LAUTECH DLC AND FEE PAYMENT

  • Note that the application forms are available online on payment of application fee of ₦10,000.00 and Technology fee of ₦2,500.00 only.
  • Also note that all applicants are expected to enroll through the center’s website by completing and submitting the online application form via www.lodlc.lautech.edu.ng.
  • After completing the online application form, all candidates are required to upload a scanned recent passport photograph with the white background showing ears, without cap and glasses. And the scanned passport photograph should be in JPEG format and must not be more than 20kb. After submitting the application form, all candidates are to print out their referee form.
