The difference between Gotv and DSTV is that Gotv renders its service with DVB-T2, a technological terrestrial broadcast while DSTV is a satellite based technology. Gotv guide is a service that provides information to Gotv subscribers about the date, time and series of television programs that will be aired in a particular channel and the package. For instance, if you use Gotv, and you are subscribed to Gotv max, and you also love watching the African Magic Family channel on the Gotv Max package and you want to know all the entertainment that will be shown on a particular day, you will just go to the Gotv guide web portal and input the date you intend to check, it will display to you all the programs that will be shown on that particular channel with the time it will start.

How To Use Gotv Guide And Its Function, Follow These Procedures

Visit the Gotv guide web portal at eazy.gotvafrica.com/en/ng/tv-guide .
Select your Gotv subscribed package from the drop down button on the web portal. Examples of Gotv packages are Gotv Max, Gotv Plus, Gotv Value, and Gotv Lite.
You can now choose a date that you intend to check. Note that you can also check for programs that will be shown till 30 days, just choose a date and it will be shown to you.
Next thing is to choose a channel you want to check which is under such package. Example is Africa Magic Family channel under Gotv Max, SuperSport 1 under Gotv Max or Afro Music pop under Gotv Plus, SuperSport Blitz under Gotv Plus.
Next is to view the list of different program that will be shown on that particular channel under your selected Gotv package you have subscribed.

Note that all the program that will be displayed will have the title of the program, date, time and a little description of what the program will be about so that you will have enough information about it.

There are four different packages on Gotv you can subscribe to, each of the package has their own channels. They are:
