Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) is one of the private universities in Nigeria owned by a famous lawyer and fish farming entrepreneur, Aare Afe Babalola. It was founded in 2009 and it is situated on 130 hectares of land in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti, Nigeria.
Afe Babalola University, since 2013 when she graduated 101 students as her first set has been growing from strength to strength. It currently has about 7000 students with about 1300 administrative staff. This shows a great feat the institution has achieved within a short period of time.
The citadel of learning offers undergraduate academic programmes in five colleges which include College of Law, College of Engineering, College of Sciences, College of Social and Management Sciences and College of Medicine and Health Sciences. The school also offers postgraduate courses in it separate postgraduate college.
Admission Requirements

- Applicants must have at least five o’ level credit passes including English language and other related subjects in either NECO or WAEC which must not be more than two sittings.
- Applicants must have a good UTME score.

How To Pay School Fees
To pay school fees, kindly follow the steps below:
- Log on to https://portal.abuad.edu.ng
- Log in with your UTME registration number and use the word “password” as your password.
- Navigate and click on “school fees set up”
- Click on the drop-down option to choose your bedding option.
- Next, the breakdown of the school fees with the total will be displayed. Click on “complete fees set up”
- Next, click on payment and from the drill down, select “add payment”
- Next, input the amount you want to pay and click on “add payment”. Please note that 50% payment is allowed except for law and 100 level medical students.
- Choose your payment option either with pay direct at the bank or with your ATM card.
- With your ATM card, input the necessary details such as transaction ID, mobile number and email address. Then click on continue.
- Next, enter your ATM card details and make payment.
How To Register Courses
To register courses, please follow the steps below:
- Log on to https://portal.abuad.edu.ng
- Log in with your UTME registration number and use the word “password” as your password.
- Navigate and click on “Manage Courses” just beside dashboard at the left hand side corner of the web page.
- From the drill down, select course registration.
- From here, you can register your courses.
