How To Register Courses And The Post In Federal College Of Education Oyo With Other Info

The Federal College of Education (Special) commonly referred to as (FCEOYS) was founded on October 5, 1977 as a Federal Advanced Teacher’s College (Special), the college holds the unique privilege of being the only higher institution that caters for students with special needs in not only Nigeria but also in Sub-Saharan Africa.

 

The college has the largest concentration of special needs students in any Nigerian higher institution and is also equipped with specialized facilities for teaching and training teachers of Special needs children in Nigeria. FCESOYS offers National Certificate of Education (NCE) to both handicapped and able students across its seven faculties and over thirty departments. It also offers pre-NCE to prepare students into the NCE programme.

 

 

Admission Requirement

  1. Applicants must choose FCESOYas first choice of institution in the UTME and score above 100, students who did not choose FCESOY during UTME but scored 100 can also apply for admission
  2. Applicants with deficiencies in O’level/NABTEB (Less than five credit passes in required courses) or applicants who scored below 100 during UTME can apply for the pre-NCE programme before proceeding to the NCE programme.

 

How To Apply For Admission At FCESOY

  1. Visit the official website at www.nceportal.fcesoyo.edu.ng
  2. Pay the sum of #2000 only for the Application Screening form at any commercial bank through the Remita platform and #1000 for ICT processing fee and result checking
  3. After payment, fill the application form correctly and submit
  4. Upload two passport photographs (White background maximum of 100kb) and scanned copies of O’ level results
  5. Print out the Online Application Form to take along for the admission screening exercise.

Admission Screening Exercise

Applicants should go along to the admission screening exercise venue with the following documents: Original and photocopy of Online Application Form, two copies of UTME e- notification or results slip, a copy of O’ level result and a valid means of identification.

 

 

How To Check Admission Status

  1. Visit the admission checking portal
  2. Enter your JAMB Registration number in the field provided
  3. Click on “Proceed” to check your admission status.

 

 

Registration Procedure

  1. Applicants who have been offered provisional admission should visit fcesuidegree.com and click on the payment link to pay the Acceptance fee of #25,000 and generate an Online payment receipt.
  2. Take the online generated receipt to the Accounts section of the directorate and exchange for college receipt.
  3. After payment, admitted students will be screened, documents needed for screening include: Original copy of UTME result slip, Original and photocopies of O’level/ NABTEB result, original and photocopies of acceptance fee receipt, 8 passport photographs, letter of identification from local government, attestation letter from two reputable persons attesting to the moral conduct of student, birth certificate and a sworn affidavit not to participate in any act of cultism.
  4. After a successful screening, you will be issued a DIDDIP to enable you access the portal for course registration.
  5. Access the portal to register courses and make six copies of the course registration forms to be endorsed by the head of department and by the Academic programme officers
  6. Submit the forms as follows : 2 copies to the directorate, a copy to each of the HODs, a copy to the Academic Programme office and a copy should be kept by the student.
