How To Register Courses, Check Result And Pay School Fees On Shaka Polytechnic Benin City

Shaka Polytechnic Benin city is a private polytechnic owned by Late Sir Dr. Prince Donaldson Shaka Momodu. The institution was established on February 6,1986 as the Nigeria Institute of Computer Science. Shakapoly was in the past sitauted at No 1, Prince Shaka Momodu Street, Ogiso Quarters Off Murtala Muhammad Way, Benin City while the main campus is located at Evbo-Ewedo Dukedom Aling Egba Road, Off Benin-Auchi Road, Edo state.

It is under the leadership of Lady Mrs Henrietta Shaka Momodu wife to the deceased owner who operates the institution. Shaka Poly offers awards and degrees in various disciplines leading to Pre-ND, ND and HND certificates in both part-time and full-time mode.

Entry Requirements

Requirements for admission into Pre-ND and certificate programmes are five credit passes in O’level including English Language, Maths and any three relevant core subjects in the area of study in not more than two sittings.
Applicants must write and choose Shaka polytechnic in UTME organized by JAMB and score not less than 150. Successful applicants from the Pre-ND programme are also eligible for admission although they must also write UTME and possess five credit passes in O’level
Applicants seeking admission into HND programme must possess ND certificate not lower than lower credit in addition to certificate of completion of industrial training. Applicants from other recognized polytechnics can also apply.
Applicants who did not choose Shaka poly in UTME can also be considered for admission if they purchase Shaka Polytechnic Pre-Admission application form
Applicants with deficiencies in O’level results (Less than five credit passes in relevant subjects) can apply for admission into the Pre-ND programme.

Admission Process

Admission into National Diploma (ND) programme is ongoing into the following disciplines: Accountancy, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mass Communication, Estate management, Public administration, Statistics and Science Laboratory Technology.
Admission forms can be obtained in person from the Polytechnic’s Admission office for a sum of #6000. Applicants should fill the form correctly and submit to the same Admission office where it was purchased from. They should use a valid phone number and email when registering so that the school will be able to communicate the date for the screening exercise to them.
