Taraba state university is located in Jalingo the capital of Taraba state. It was Established in 2008 by the Taraba State Government to increase the chances of a varsity education for its indigenes and advance the course of Academic development in the nation and it remains a state owned university. Since its inception, producing skilled and accomplished graduates to the country has been their Aim. It is one of the fastest growing Universities in Northern Nigeria. The institution is regulated by the National universities Commission, Abuja.
